1.	Prof. Om Vikas, President
Prof. Om Vikas is a well known educationist and technocrat. He possesses B Tech(EE), M Tech(EE), Ph.D.(CSE) all from IIT, Kanpur. He has been the Director / VC, ABV-IIITM (Indian Institute of Information Technology & Management), Gwalior (Deemed University under MHRD). He began his career as System Engineer at TCS. He joined NIC and rose to Senior Director in the Department of Electronics & Information Technology, Min C & IT (Govt of India) where he served as head of Human Centered Computing Division (Language Technology TDIL and Digital Library Missions), and Computer Manpower Development Division. He was visiting professor at IIT/Kanpur, adjunct professor at IIT/Delhi, NSIT/DU,Delhi; Professor in-charge CLASS project at NCERT; Director, IP Engineering College, Corporate Advisor to C-DAC. Currently he is Professor-Emeritus at Mahamaya Technical University (UP). His current research interests are Semantic Web, NLP, Learning Systems, and Engineering Education. He had also served as Counsellor (Science & Technology) in Indian Embassy, Tokyo promoting India-Japan cooperation in S&T and education. He had been recipient of UNDP Fellowship to study large database designs in Europe, USA and Canada. Prof. Om Vikas is Member of various Professional Societies: Senior Member - IEEE (USA); IEEE Engineering Management Society, IEEE Computer Society, IEEE Education Society, Fellow of Russian Academy of Informatization of Education, Fellow- IETE, Institution of Engineers, Life Member – ISTE & CSI. He is also Trustee Member of the International Forum of Interdisciplinary Mathematics FIM). He is member of the Organizing Committee of the World Summit on Accreditation WOSA 2014. He was associated in organizing WOSA 2012 also. Prof. Om Vikas He has Professional Experience as Academician, Technocrat and Diplomat and contributed significantly in: Engineering Education, Human Resource Development, Curriculum Design, Technology Innovation Management, and International Cooperation. For his distinguished contributions, he received several awards and honours – "Atmaram"(1989 by President of India), "Vishisht Padak"(1989), "Indira Gandhi Rajbhasha Puraskar” (1991 by PM, GoI"), "Vigyan Bhushan"(2001), “VASVIK Industrial Research Award” (2002), World Medal of Honour by American Bibliographic Institute Inc. (2003), “Vigyan Shiromani” (2007), “Vishwa Hindi Samman” (New York, 2007), etc. He has steered as Chairman the development of CS & IT curricula at Secondary and Higher Secondary levels (Vocational & Academic) for CBSE and NIOS, at Vocational Competency certificate level for ITIs, NVEQF ICT curricula for DoEACC, UG & PG curricula – Computer Applications, Knowledge Engineering , Industrial Informatics, Engineering Education, etc. He is invited as Expert member of NBA/AICTE, NAAC / UGC for assessment & accreditation of technical programmes / institutions. He is also expert member of NCSTC of DST, Skill Development Group of DGE&T, Govt of India. He is on BOS / Academic Councils of NSIT/DU, Banasthali Univ, IGNOUniv, MTUniv, MGAHindi(central)Univ, etc. His teaching and research interests include Computer Architecture and Organization, Information Management, Natural Language Processing, Semantic Web, Engineering Education.
2.	Prof. Harcharan Lal Sharma, Vice President
Prof. Harcharan Lal is one of the founder members of the Lok Vigyan Parishad. He is a science educationist retired as professor of Physics from the National Council for Educational Research and Training. He has worked as the Sr. Consultant in the National Institute of Open Schooling also.
3.	Dr. Oum Prakash Sharma, General Secretary
Dr. Oum Prakash Sharma is a popular science writer, educationist and social worker. His areas of interest are science popularisation, research in open and distance learning system, examination reforms, innovative initiatives for effective and learner friendly support services for distance learners. Dr Oum Prakash Sharma, is an academician presently working in IGNOU, New Delhi. He is working towards finding innovative learning and support solutions for the learners using the new technologies. His areas of interest are science popularisation, research in open and distance learning system, examination reforms, innovative initiatives for effective and learner friendly support services for distance learners. For last 15 years he has been very actively working towards science popularization in the society particularly among the children. He has contributed a number of articles and papers in the field of science popularization. He is the Chief Editor of a popular science magazine Vigyan Aapke Liye in Hindi. He is the main architect, designer and coordinator of this popular science portal ‘World of Science’. He has been awarded Rajbhasha Ratna Award by Kendriya Sachivalaya Hindi Parishad and Sahiyta Samanvay Manch, Delhi in 2004 for promoting Science & Technology through Hindi medium; and awarded “Sahitya Shri Samman” by Delhi Hindi Sahitya Sammelan in 2005 for popularizing science and science journalism through Hindi medium. Dr. Oum Sharma has been awarded with the National Award for Outstanding Efforts in Science & Technology Communication for 2013.
4.	Mr Pratapanand Jha, Treasurer
Pratapanand Jha is Director of the Cultural Informatics Laboratory in Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts. He is a basically a computer scientist working in the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts at Delhi. He has keen interest in popularizing science and culture in the society. He has initiated many projects, which includes Kalāsaṁpadā (Digital Library of Resources of Indian Cultural Heritage), which received Golden Icon Award from the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances, Government of India. Other projects of National importance under him includes the digitisation of Kanjur and Tanjur manuscripts at the National Library of Mongolia, Digitisation of manuscripts at the Oriental Research Library, Srinagar; National Museum, New Delhi and digitization of paintings, manuscripts and photographs of Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore at Rabindra Bhavan, Visva-Bharati. Currently, he is working on the conceptual plan for National Cultural Audiovisual Archives project of the Ministry of Culture, Government of India.

डॉ. कृष्ण कुमार मिश्र का जन्म मार्च 1966 में उत्तर प्रदेश के जौनपुर जनपद में हुआ। उन्होंने वर्ष 1987 में इलाहाबाद विश्वविद्यालय से रसायन विज्ञान में एम.एस-सी. तथा सन् 1992 में काशी हिन्दू विश्वविद्यालय (BHU) से पीएच.डी. की उपाधि प्राप्त कीं। वे मुंबई के टाटा मूलभूत अनुसंधान संस्थान (TIFR) के होमी भाभा विज्ञान शिक्षा केन्द्र में वैज्ञानिक हैं। डॉ. मिश्र ने हिंदी में विज्ञान शिक्षा तथा विज्ञान लोकव्यापीकरण की दिशा में उत्कृष्ट तथा व्यापक योगदान दिया है। वे विज्ञान के क्षेत्र में मौलिक लेखन, अनुवाद तथा संपादन से एक लम्बे अरसे से जुड़े हैं। उनकी कुल 15 पुस्तकें प्रकाशित हो चुकी हैं जिनमें विज्ञान शिक्षा, लोकोपयोगी विज्ञान तथा शैक्षिक पाठ्यचर्या से संबंधित पुस्तकें शामिल हैं। आपने हिन्दी में शैक्षिक ई-सामग्री के लिए पहल करते हुए एक नवाचारी ई-लर्निंग पोर्टल http://ehindi.hbcse.tifr.res.in शुरू किया है। विज्ञान को आम जनमानस तक पहुँचाने की दृष्टि से डॉ. मिश्र प्रिंट मीडिया के लिए निरन्तर लिखते रहे हैं तथा हिन्दी में प्रकाशित होने वाले प्रमुख राष्ट्रीय पत्र, पत्रिकाओं तथा जर्नल्स में उनके अब तक करीब 150 से ज्यादा लेख प्रकाशित हो चुके हैं। डॉ. मिश्र देश की अनेक विज्ञान अकादमियों तथा शैक्षिक संगठनों से जुड़े हैं। हिन्दी विज्ञान लेखन के क्षेत्र में उत्कृष्ट योगदान के लिए उन्हें परमाणु ऊर्जा विभाग, भारत सरकार द्वारा वर्ष 2004-05 के "राजभाषा भूषण पुरस्कार" से सम्मानित किया गया है। उनकी पुस्तक "लोकविज्ञान: समकालीन रचनाएं" पर महाराष्ट्र राज्य हिन्दी साहित्य अकादमी, महाराष्ट्र सरकार, द्वारा विधा पुरस्कार के अंतर्गत 'विज्ञान/तकनीकी' के लिए उन्हें वर्ष 2009-2010 का प्रतिष्ठित 'होमी जहाँगीर भाभा पुरस्कार' प्रदान किया गया है। राष्ट्रभाषा हिन्दी के माध्यम से विज्ञान लोकप्रियकरण के क्षेत्र में उनके उत्कृष्ट योगदान के लिए विज्ञान परिषद् प्रयाग ने अपने शताब्दी वर्ष (2012-2013) के अवसर पर उन्हें "शताब्दी सम्मान" प्रदान किया है।
8.	Sh R. S. Dass, Executive Board Member
Shri R.S. Dass is an educationist and science teacher. He has a rich experience of more than 40 years of teaching and writing in the field of science. Shri Dass is an educationist and science teacher retired as the Vice Principal. He has post graduate degrees in Physics and Education. He has a rich experience of more than 40 years of teaching and writing in the field of science. After retirement he has served in NIOS and IGNOU for few years. He has contributed a number of popular science articles for different magazines. He is the Editor of a popular science magazine Vigyan Aapke Liye. He is associated with several organizations like NCERT, CBSE, NIOS, Vigyan Prasar and IGNOU as writer, editor and translator. He is one of the founder architect and contributors of the World of Science portal

9. Dr Amit Chhabra, Executive Board Member

Dr Amit Chhabra is a Consultant Physician and Diabetologist & Endocrinologist. He has an interest in making people aware of the their health in general and diabetes in particular by organising various types of camps and programmes.

Dr Amit Chhabra has done MBBS and MD from Banaras Hindu University (BHU), and CCEBDM (Diabetes) from Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) . He has also done Clinical Diabetes Program (Cleveland Clinic, USA). He has attended several conferences and seminars in different fields of medicine particularly in the field of Diabetes & Endocrinology. Presently he is associated as a Consultant with Diabetes & Endocrinology Deptt., Pushpanjali Crosslay Hospital, Vaishali, Ghaziabad. 10. Dr. R. S. P. Singh, Executive Board Member

Dr R.S.P. Singh is working as Associate Professor in the field of vocational education and training in IGNOU. He has specialization in Agriculture Extension. He has edited several units and books in the area of Agriculture and related discipline. He has done masters and doctorate in Agriculture Extension from Banaras Hindu University. He has organized several training programmes for different kinds of functionaries of open and distance education system.

He has attended a number of seminars, conferences and workshops both nationally and internationally. He has published a number of papers and articles in different journals and magazines. He has an interest in writing popular articles in the field of Agriculture for general people

11. Sh. Suresh Tiwari, Executive Board Member

Mr. Suresh Tiwari is basically a technocrat working as Deputy General Manager, Durgapur Steel Plant (Delhi Unit Office),Steel Authority of India Limited. He has BTech and MTech in mechanical Engineering from Banaras Hindu University. He is a science communicator also. He has authored several books in Hindi.

12.Sh. Manish Mohan Gore, Executive Board Member

Mr. Manish Mohan Gore is a famous science communicator and fiction writer. He has deep interest in popular science writing for general public. Presently he is working as Jr. Scientific Officer (Publications) in Vigyan Prasar, Deptt. of Science & Technology, GOI.

Mr. Manish Mohan Gore has M.Sc. in Botany from Gorakhpur University, Gorakhpur and PG Diploma in Journalism & Mass Communication from U.P. Rajarshi Tandon Open University, Allahabad. He has published 5 books, several research papers, reports and more than 100 articles in different magazines and journals, particularly in the field of science communication. He delivered several radio talks on different topics of science. He has attended several Conferences/Workshops in the field of science and science communication. His popular science books include Vigyan Katha Ka Safar, 325 Saal Ka Admi, Jaiv Vividhata Sanrakshan, Charles Darwin and Jantu Vyavhar For his outstanding work, he has been awarded with the Science Fiction Award (2001) by Indian Science Fiction Writers Association, Faizabad, U. P; Young Scientist Award (2003) by District Science Club, Deoria (U.P.) on 09 Dec. 2003 for the dedicated contribution in the field of Science communication and C. V. Raman Takaniki Lekhan Puraskar (2006) from All India Society for Electronics & Computer Technology (AISECT), Bhopal (M. P.).

13. Sh Ajay Bharadwaj, Executive Board Member

He has an interest in the field of computer science and is keen to develop new and innovative web based applications. Mr. Ajay Bhardwaj is an IT expert having expertise in .NET, SQL server and crystal report etc. He has done BSc and MCA. Presently he is working in the WNS Global Service Ltd., Gurgaon as Asst. Manager. He has developed several innovative web based applications for Indira Ghandhi National Open University like On-demand Exam, and Automated admission and Exam Data Management System. Earlier, he has worked in the organizations like IGNOU Head Office, KVR Infosys and NIOS. He has been writing popular article in the field of science and computer science.

14. Ms. Poonam Trikha, Executive Board Member

Ms. Poonam Trikha is a Computer Science Specialist and has expertise in software development and teaching computer science. She has an interest in writing articles on different topics of science and Computer Science useful for general public.

Ms. Poonam Trikha has done her B.Sc. (Hons.), B.Ed., MCA and M. Phil in Computer Science. She has developed many websites and web application for different departments of Delhi Government. Currently she is working as Web Developer in Vigyan Prasar, Deptt. of Science & Technology, GOI. She has worked with IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, Delhi and DOEACC Society, Delhi as a Programmer. She has published several articles on different topics of science in various Newspapers and also presented programmes in All India Radio on various topics viz., science, cultural activities, book fair etc. She has won second prize from Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre, Trivandrum for National Essay Competition on topic “Development in Space and Technology. She is the Sub-Editor of a popular science magazine 'Vigyan Aapke Liye'.
